What are you paying for case lots of 7.62 x 51 (308 Ammunition)
 

Just checking here as I have seen it go from 200 a 1000 round case to 1900.00 a case.
The latest price I have paid was last week a case for 380.00 and It was really hard to let go of the cash for that one.

Of course this is not your average South African surplus nor the Junk Indian 308, and it was from a Private Party so I didn't have to send a copy of my ID or anything like that.

I have also paid a little less for Radway Green 308 in the nifty 50 caliber ammo cans.

If anyone knows of any Ammo deals dont be shy post them up here.

I still need 9mm 40SW and 45ACP for my preps.

Wow, you are buying investment grade ammo! *LAUGH*
Just buy an HK91 and you can feed it with anything except that dirty Inidan surplus, and your accuracy will stay about the same.
Wideners.com, Ammoman.com, surplusammo.com. All three have deals on tinned 9mm, tinned 45, and South African and Lithuanian 7.62. All good disaster ammo.

Here's what indian does if you spend an extra 50.00

A kinetic bullet puller, a cheap electronic scale, a 15.00 lee loader kit.

5 shots at 100 yards. Pull bullet, clean neck and bullet of tar, weigh charge to 38-39 gr.....shoot. Will do 3/4 inch at 300 yards. Oh yea have a great gun, zero head spaced. Lots of savage 110's will do similiar if you zero headspace 'em with the 30.00 wrench and a normal vice with a couple blocks of wood. The brass is good. If you find a bad round....throw out the brass....a simple thing. Save the powder and bullet.

Buy the german nato 308....it's better then the good south african (actually, I've never though S. African was great....average accuracy) 425.00/1000 at century arms. Shipping is 7.95 for whole order. Shipping is free if you add one extra battle pack to get over 500.00 order. 510.00 total to your door. Always add in the shipping with the other guys....it's 7.00 to 20.00 and sometimes this is per case....can get expensive. 800-999-4899 ext 6 ask for Dave.

About a month back, I picked up a 500 round tin of Wolf .308 from The Sportsman's Guide. It was about $215. I'm lucky enough to live about a half hours drive of the SG, so I don't have to pay for shipping.
